Dear Queen,
I hope you are reading this humble letter in good health and in a wonderful mood. I hasten to share with you another amazing adventure that took place today in the shady corners of our endless royal garden.
Early this morning, when nature was just awakening and there was a profound silence, I met someone so unusual that at first, I took it for a plush toy forgotten by a child. Coming closer, I saw a tiny kitten with amazing, shimmering fur that glistened in the sun. The little kitty sat perfectly still and quiet, hiding in the thick grass. There was an undeniable fear in her huge amber eyes — it was obvious that she had absolutely no idea where she was or how she had ended up there.
I sat down quietly besides her, trying not to frighten the little one, and to my sincere surprise, the kitty did not run away. On the contrary, she trustingly pressed against my paw and began to tell me in her feline language about her long and tiring journey. It turned out that at dawn, she had been wandering through the garden, enthusiastically chasing bright butterflies and playing in the rays of the sun. But during the game, she wandered too far, got lost from her familiar place, and could not find the way back to her home.
I simply could not leave the poor, frightened kitten alone, so I decided at all costs to help her find her cozy house. We decided not to delay. Together we ran and had fun, while simultaneously searching for the kitten’s home. On the way, we met an old pigeon who, from the height of his flight, saw the entire palace and kindly showed us the right direction.
When we finally reached our goal, a worried little girl was waiting on the porch of a small house. Her tearful eyes instantly shone with boundless happiness when she saw and pressed her favorite pet to her very heart. I was truly glad that I could help the little kitty and return the pet to her owner. May this short story warm your heart as well, reminding us that in our garden, there is always a place for sincere kindness and wonderful rescue.
With deep respect and love,
Your little Mouse
